The Subaru Share the Love Event is back for the ninth year in a row. Donations for this year’s event will go to a range of charities, including ASPCA, Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheels, and the National Parks Foundation. This is just one of the many ways that Subaru gives back to the community
According to Subaru, the Share the Love Event means that the brand will donate $250 for every new Subaru sold. There is no cap on the total donation Subaru will give this year, and the brand hopes to exceed a grand total (from over the past nine years) of $90 million. There will be a minimum guarantee of $250,000 to the major charities, ensuring these companies still receive donations even if sales fall short.
“We at Subaru are thrilled to support our national and hometown charity partners for the ninth consecutive year,” said Alan Bethke, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Subaru of America Inc. “Through the Share the Love platform we are proud to continue our commitment to the causes our customers care about most and look forward to exceeding a grand total of $90 million donated through this initiative.”
Subaru is also happy to give to hometown charities that customers might support. So far this year, the brand lined up over 660 charities across the country that will receive funding through the Subaru Share the Love event. If you’re looking for a new car and you want to give back, buy a Subaru.
